Tenerife is one of the Canary Islands situated off the east coast of Morocco. It is extremely popular with European tourists as it offers year round sunshine, great value accommodation and a wide range of activities that can be enjoyed during the day and all night long!

One of the most popular resorts on Tenerife is Playa de las Americas, which is fringed by the smaller resorts of Los Christianos and Costa Adeje. There is really no shortage of things to do here; Playa del las Americas is great for taking a long stroll along the promenade where you can stop off for coffee and browse the shops. If that doesn’t entice you then you would love the sandy beaches, protected from the warm Atlantic waters.

Those interested in golf will also find plenty to do in Tenerife as there are some great golf courses along the coast offering year round golf for golfers of any handicap. Watersports are in no short supply too; you can waterski, windsurf, bodyboard and surf at a whole variety of locations along the coastline.

Holidays in Tenerife are very affordable because there is such a wide range of accommodation to choose from with everything from bargain 3 star self catering apartments to luxurious 5 star beach-front hotels. You’ll be in good company too, A-list celebrities such as Jennifer Lopez have been spotted relaxing on Tenerife.

There are plenty of flights to Tenerife so getting there is not a problem. Many of the big carriers fly from the main hub airports to Tenerife on a daily basis and at great prices too.

Tenerife is a great holiday destination any time of the year. You could try it over Christmas for a more relaxed holiday or go during the peak summer months when the island is pumping with life!

Majorca, also spelled Mallorca, is the biggest of the Balearics Islands and the favourite summer destination for many Europeans.

Visited by nearly 10 million people every year and with an average temperature of 18ºC, the island offers many different things to do, and not only lay by the sea at any of its uncountable sandy beaches.

Palma de Mallorca masterpiece is the gothic Cathedral, also called La Seu, situated in the old city centre behind the walls and facing the Mediterranean Sea. Around there you’ll find also other interesting places to visit, such as the city council at the “Plaza de Cort” square, the Arab baths, or La Almudaina.

Those who enjoy going out will find not only many local restaurants, but also international ones and many pubs and nightclubs: Palma is a multicultural city which caters to everyone.

But the island has more to offer than Palma. There are plenty of small villages where people still knows how to take live slowly such as Sóller, Pollensa, and Felanitx, which are the perfect example of what’s been called “the other Mallorca”.

Anyway, if what you want is simply sun & fun, Magaluf, Palma Nova, Alcudia or Cala Bona will be perfect for you. There you can find many hotels and apartments at reasonable rates, most of them located by or near the beach.

The internet is full of websites with information about Majorca, but to start we’ll recommend you A2zMallorca and Majorca-Mallorca.

The town of Pisa has been recognized as one of the major tourist destinations in the world. Pisa is famous of its Leaning Tower and many other architectural assets. Pisa is also easily located since the place is near to other Italian undeveloped countryside and lies near to the well known Tuscany Coast.

Many tourists and visitors believes that Pisa’ Leaning Tower is the main tourist attraction of the town. Pisa Leaning Tower construction was started in 1173 and the tower is completely built in 1350. The tower, however, tends to be tilted to a small degree. There are three main architectural wonders that form the tower of Pisa which are the Baptistery, the Doumo and the Tower. The Leaning Tower of Pisa can be reached by the magnificent bronze-made doors of the Portale di San Ranieri. The Leaning Tower of Pisa many times has been in threat of failing due to its structures. The latest attempt to change the tower’s angle to safe position was successfully completed in the year 2000. The tower is round and has six bell-chamber crowned floors. When the Leaning Tower of Pisa is open, tourists can discover the 293 stair climb until the highest position of the tower. It is worth to visit this Leaning Tower due to its amazing sceneries of Pisa from the top of the tower.

Pisa has many outstanding restaurants and first class accommodation. Nightlife in Pisa is bit quieter because of the limited quiet clubs, pubs, bars and cafes.
From Milan or Rome, tourists can reach Pisa by rail connections.
Milan is recognized as the capital for fashion fanatics. This gives Italy the image of a fashionable country. Milan also plays a role as the major financial centre of Italy. Moreover, Milan is an excellent shopping spot for window shoppers and true shoppers. The people of Milan represent style, vivacious environment and arrays of food.

The impressive Castello Sforzesco intersects the Piazza del Duomo at the northern area of Via Dante. More than a few museums and a number of eye-catching sculptures are the features inside the Castello Sforzesco. For tourists who had enough with culture and history, Parco Sempione is the most recommended green area where environment lovers gather the most.
Piazza Del Duomo is the centre of Milan’s economic activities and the place features a glorious cathedral of the 14th Century. The Piazza del Duomo is considered as one of the largest domes and has a spectacular gilded copper sculpture of the Museo Del Uomo and Madonna. Other major religious places of interest are The Last Supper, which was painted by Leonardo Da Vinci. The Last Supper is restored safely and displayed to restricted numbers in the hall of the Convetto Di Santa Maria Delle Grazie.

Milan has a desirable music and opera scene. Down with a 200 years history museum, Teatro all Scala has become the world’s most notorious centerpiece. Milan’s main attractions are markets, malls, and shopping boulevards that are scattered everywhere. On the other side of Milan, tourists can drive to Lake Maggiore and Pavia area.

As the main capital of Spain, Madrid is well known of its impressive buildings, boulevards, amazing museums and monuments. The Madrilenos passion of going out at night to explore the city makes Madrid as a grand place for meals with many types of international and national foods for tourists to choose from.

The Madrid of the Habsburgs is known as the oldest district in Madrid due to the royal families that helped the town to develop in 16th century. The main attractions of this place are Casa de Correos ( the headquarter buildings of the Community of Madrid’s Autonomous Government) and Puerta del Sol.
El Oso y El Madrono (means “The Bear and the Strawberry”) is an official marks of the city. This well known statue is placed straight opposite of Puerta de Sol and Casa de Correos.
Tourists leisurely walk throughout Plaza Mayor which is a royal square that is used to be the places of countless fiestas, inquisition trials, bullfights, crowning ceremonies and public executions during Felipe II eras.

Cuchilerros guides tourists to the Plaza de Puerta Cerrada not far away from Plaza Mayor. On the right side of the area, tourists can see the San Miguel church, a large church that is built in 18th century with styles of Italian Baroque.

There are many buildings in the Plaza de la Villa with various historic interests. For example, the Casa de Cisneros, which was built originally built as a palace in 1537 and it is dedicated for the Cardinal Cisneros. At the present time, the building was fully renovated and renewed for the departments of the town hall.
Lyon is the second most popular city in France as well as one of the best spot for vacations. However, Lyon is an important city in France and it has valuable and esteemed history.

Historically, Lyon used to be famous of its economy especially on silk. Because of the silk, there are many beautiful Renaissance buildings around the town. In the present time, Lyon became more industrial than before and shows a good example of a usual working city in French. Other than that, Lyon is also a base for lots of European and French companies, a transport hub and the Headquarters of Interpol.

Moreover, the old town of Lyon is compressed under the hill of Fourviere. It is a maze of small passages (traboule) and streets which is starts at the centre of pedestrian zone of Rue St-Jean and ends at the Cathedral St. Jean, a 12th century built cathedral church. Not far away from the cathedral, in front of Pont Bonaparte and avenue Adolphe-Max, tourists can go the furnicular station and the Viux Lyon metro to discover the Roman remains in Lyon. This includes two remarkable excavated theatres. In addition, the Musée Gallo-Romain et Parc Archéologique de Fourvière is situated here. The 16th century built, Hotel Paterin is one of the most stunning buildings in Lyon. The Basilique de Fourviere also offers excellent sceneries Lyon’s surrounding area from the top.

Marseille is described as the most important Mediterranean port of France. However, Marseille is more like a partisan city. The city has many ethnic populations especially from North America. Historically, its characteristics of low profile and multi ethnicity since 2500 years have turned Marseille into a famous trading centre.

From a 154 meters high hill, Notre Dame de la Garde dominates the city and the famous old port, known as the Vieux Port. The 1853 Roman Byzantine style basilica with its bell tower and the dome is really amazing. The bell tower is capped with a lovely golden statue of Virgin Mary.
The past Vieux Port presently has become the place where tourists and visitors rent boats for fishing and cruising. The entrance of Vieux Port is safeguarded by the Bas Fort St Nicholas, which was built by the Knights Templar in 13th century.
Through Vieux Port, tourists can discover the La Canabiere, a district of tourist shops, cheap hotels, seedy bars and lots of restaurants. The more people go to the port, the livelier the environment becomes.

Due to its strong cultural elements, Marseille has many museums scattered around the city such as Musee d’Histoire de Marseille, Musee de la Faience (for porcelains), Musee De Beaux Arts (which is housed in the unbelievable Palais Lonchamps), Musee Grobet Labadie (Objects and royal furniture d’art), and Musee Cantini (mainly focused on modern arts).
The reputation of Marseille as a disgraceful violent place arises mostly from its nightlife and liberal attitude. However, Marseille is a lively and fascinating place where the French locals are friendly.
Dublin is known as the Emerald Isle amongst the Dubliners. With thousands of pubs and bars, the city can easily be discovered while walking on the feet. It is a good starting point for the tour to begin with Dublinia exhibition which is located nearby the prehistoric Christchurch Cathedral. A walk less than 10 minutes can bring you to the glorious Trinity College - the place where Book of Kells was written and produced. The sidewalks of Grafton and the greens of St. Stephens nearby are adequate suitable atmospheres for people watching and shopping.

Furthermore, the main attractions of Dublin are the Dublin Castle and Irish Parliaments which circulates many Dublin’s past history around it. The magnificent colonial post across the river, which lies on the streets of O’Connell, has seen the Irish nationalism revolution occurred in 1916. The movement was led by Daniel O’ Connell (the street where the event occurred and was eventually named after him) and his act forced British to free Ireland out of their nations and as a result, Ireland gained independence from the British Empire. For the people who are interested in Ireland’s legacy of music and literature, the Dublin Literary tour and the Rock and Stroll museum is a must for them. Other than that, there are many museums scattered sporadically inside Dublin. National Museum, Dublin Writers Museum and Joyce Museum are most recommended for the tourists.

To enjoy more Irish liveliness, tourists can check out lots of restaurants and pubs especially in the area of Temple Bar, the main hub of entertainments in Dublin.
